Michelle Sterley - Head Veterinary Assistant

I have three dogs of my own: 2 Australian cattle dogs, Morgan and Sydney and a black labrador mix named Dallas.  My husband, son and I also have four miniature horses that keep us busy.  I have been at Safe Harbor Animal Hospital since July of 2006.  I love the clients and all the pets that come in.  They have nicknamed me "Aunt Michelle."  My favorite things here are the older dogs because I can just imagine all the great stories they could tell.

Erica Phillips - Licenced Veterinary Technician

After graduating from Colorado Mountain College's Veterinary Technology program in 2004, I have had many opportunities working in the different areas of veterinary medicine, including large animal emergency at Michigan State University.  I have found that no matter where I am, my experience working with animals is a gift, one unlike anything else that always results in unique gratification.

My goals for the future focus not only on this, but the continued respect for all species.  I am an advocate for better understanding our animals' behavior, while providing them with the best health care possbile to ensure their happiness.  I have a passion for veterinary dentistry and educating pet owners about preventative treatments and techniques to keep their pet's mouth healthy.  During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my chinchilla, Stitch and Ocicat, Little Miss Magic.
